After a lay in with the diesel heater on !!! it was 6 degrees outside !!! at our favourite £6 a night campsite near the sailing club and with another clear blue day the bikes came off again. As we had already biked around twice before we decided to just go to Whitwell to see our friends David and Maggie Coles as David was taking part in some formula racing there :) There was also a big dinghy race meeting with loads of boats out jockeying for position in the light airs !!! Normanton church looked stunning in the calm clear conditions and when we arrived at Whitwell there was no racing because of the light wind.David was pleased really because of the four races on the Saturday he had done enough for a good result !!! We stayed chatting and drinking coffee in the sun and I meet another of my facebook friends - Irish speedsailor Alastair Nichol who has come over to do Weymouth Speedweek as well !!! So a top top weekend not spoiled by me reversing the van and breaking my bike rack number plate and dropping my camera lens hood into the canal !!!
